Surya Kriya Workshop Package in Central London - Inclusive of Follow-up Session!
We are delighted to announce our Surya Kriya Workshop Package and we will be once again partnering up with London yoga studio the Yoga Cave in Barbican to offer the best possible location. This means that as well as the Weekend Workshop to learn the practice, you will have the option of a follow-up session to build confidence and support your practice in the same venue later in the week.
The full practice can be learnt over two sessions sufficiently but it only gives you limited time to repeat the practice. Therefore we are offering an extra session in the same venue to help build your confidence to practice at home. What this means is it allows you to practice for a few days on your own and then come back to ensure your practice is going well and clear any doubts that may arise. This is a wonderful support for you to build a relationship with your own practice and really create a journey for yourself with yoga.

"…thank you for such a remarkable experience. It has been a very powerful process …I think the most noticeable change was happiness. My baseline level of happiness is much higher. Sometimes I feel an intense happiness for no reason at all! You know how sometimes you can be excited or ecstatic when something wonderful was about to happen, or had just happened? It was just like that …I was just sitting there, feeling blissful. …I kept coming back to my practice for that. It filled every cell in my body." -Malavika

What is the Difference between Surya Kriya from Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation)?
Up until now, Surya Namaskar (sun salutation) was publicly offered. When those who knew the practice saw a need to help the masses, they could not offer Surya Kriya in its most potent form. So they taught Surya Namaskar, which is a practice derived from Surya Kriya that has less potency spiritually but can still offer the benefits of balancing the system.
“Surya” means “sun,” and “kriya” means “inner energy process.” Surya Kriya activates the solar plexus to raise the samat prana, or solar heat, in the system. It also balances a person’s left and right energy channels, leading to stability of the body and stillness of the mind.
