  • MEA Central Manchester M14 6PL UK (map)

With our eyes under constant strain from unnatural light, here are some simple yogic practices that improve or maintain one's eye sight.

Eye Yoga

In today's electrical and digital age, our eyes are continuously exposed to unnatural light. More than 60% of people in the UK are prescribed glasses and the number is increasing.

This programme teaches some very simple yogic practices that both help reverse the impact of unnatural light on the eyes, as well as helping one to maintain their eye sight and prevent the need for glasses.

As well as Eye Care Practices, this course includes the full Upa Yoga practices (including ones not available online), which have an added benefit for those who constantly work in front of computers. It also includes the very powerful technique of Shanmukhi Mudra as an added support for the eyes, as well as supporting other spiritual practices.

Nada Yoga

Nada Yoga is the yoga of sound and you will be initiated into a very simple way of using sound to stabilise the body and mind. It has a huge impact on any mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety and helps with any focus issues. This will also act as an important preparation for Shanmukhi Mudra.

Eye Care Yoga Practices

These unique practises, devised by Sadhguru, are designed to have a phenomenal impact on the overall health and capabilities of the eyes. The practices can help correct eye problems, such as myopia (nearsightedness) and hyperopia (farsightedness) and strengthen the eye’s overall vision and focus; that can be maintained even into old age.

They are a very simple set of practices including body movements and practices directly for the eyes. It is a natural way to correct one's vision without surgery or laser treatments. The eyes have a muscular structure just like any other part of the body and, depending on the situation surrounding the eyes, can be corrected naturally provided there are no other complications. For these practices to take effect, it requires the daily practice at home and if kept up, it is very possible to improve and correct vision problems.
