Classical Yoga for Children - A joyful and transformative experience for your child

Children are naturally full of wonder, energy, and an innate sense of oneness with life. Classical Yoga for Children nurtures these qualities, offering them a joyful way to explore their natural potential while developing physical health, mental clarity, and inner balance.

This programme is based on Sadhguru’s Classical Hatha Yoga system, introducing yoga to children in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. Through Classical Hatha Yoga, Pranayam, and meditative practices, your child will gain tools that promote both physical vitality and emotional well-being—helping them grow with confidence, focus, and joy.

What Your Child Will Learn

Over the course of three days, children will be guided through a combination of powerful yet simple practices designed to support their overall development:

🔸 Surya Shakti – A dynamic practice that enhances physical strength, agility, and energy levels while laying a strong foundation for growth. It is easy to learn yet deeply impactful for children during their formative years.

🔸 Balance & Focus – In today’s world, children are constantly exposed to digital distractions, leading to restlessness and difficulty focusing. To counter this, we introduce key balancing practices such as Pranayam (yogic practice using breath) and Nada Yoga (yoga of sound) - both personally recommended by Sadhguru for children’s well-being. Plus Thorppukarnam, a powerful practice to activate the whole brain.

🔸 Fun & Connection – Each session ends on a joyful note with interactive games and activities, allowing children to unwind, connect, and integrate their learning in a fun and engaging way. Plus, a healthy snack will be provided afterward to nourish them post-practice.

Workshop Structure and Timings

This programme runs over three sessions, each lasting 2 hours and 15 minutes, during the Easter holidays.

  • Dates: Friday 14th – Sunday 16th August

  • Time: 11:15 AM – 1:30 PM (all sessions)

*Attendance: All three sessions are mandatory to ensure a complete learning experience.

Who is this Workshop Suitable for?

This programme is designed for children aged 7 to 12 years.

Children younger than 7 may find it challenging to follow, which could discourage them from practicing yoga in the future. If your child is 13+, they may be too mature for this class, but if you believe they would benefit, I’m happy to discuss—please feel free to reach out.
