Classical Yoga for Children - offers a joyful and enriching way for children to explore movement, breath, sound, and awareness.

In today’s modern world where children face constant stimulation and distraction, yogic practices can support their physical development, emotional balance, and ability to focus.

This Easter holiday we are offering a special full day experience that introduces several powerful aspects of the yogic tradition in an engaging and playful environment.

This programme is based on Sadhguru’s Classical Hatha Yoga system, introducing children to simple yogic practices that support physical vitality, emotional balance, and greater focus in a fun, joyful and supportive environment.

What Your Child Will Learn

Over the course of three days, children will be moved through various experiences of he ancient yogic systems:

🔸 Surya Shakti – A dynamic practice that enhances physical strength, agility, and energy levels while laying a strong foundation for growth.

🔸 Pranayam – Simple breathing practices that bring balance and calmness to the body and mind.

🔸 Nada Yoga – The ‘Yoga of Sound’ which helps children develop focus while creating vibrancy and a joyful experience.

🔸 Thoppukarnam – Known as ‘Brain Yoga’ is a simple yet powerful practice that increases the neurological power of the brain. It has a a huge impact to help improve coordination, attention, and mental balance.

🔸 Kalaripayattu – Children will experience elements of the ancient Indian martial art taught by a qualified instructor from who studied at Isha Samskriti (A school in Isha Yoga Centre which follows and ancient system of education and arts).

🔸 Shiva Shadakshara Stotram – Children will be introduced to a powerful mantra taught in a specific ancient way. Again taught properly by an Isha Samskriti alumni. Learning this chant creates a deep reverberation and balance within the system.

🔸 Devotional Art & Storytelling – An opportunity to explore stories from India’s rich spiritual heritage through creativity and expression. This will be led by a trained expert teacher and will develop focus, creativity and patience.

🔸 Nature Walks and Awareness Activities – Time outdoors connecting with nature and developing greater awareness of the world around them. This theme of awareness will be constantly reminded so they can experience doing every activity consciously.
