Learn this Secret of the Yogis - A Forgotten Yogic Practice
This is an age-old secret system used by ancient yogis of the yore to create a body, which is strong and athletic. This allows you to get strong but also stay flexible and agile. This is not to build mass like a body builder but create a body which is like a martial artist who keep their strength but can also be light on their feet.
This is a true body of freedom and not only that. Building lots of muscle makes you heavier and needing much more sleep and food. When you build your body the yogic way, the body is much more energised and needs less rest as it is becoming much more energy efficient.
This is system is so complete so it not only looks at the body fitness but the movement too so it gives you incredible coordination but powerful mental focus. Imagine what you will be able to achieve if you had the energy, the focus and a feeling of lightness in yourself.
Learn the complete sequence of this ancient yogic system which was used by yogis in ancient times to gain mastery over the body and mind. This workshop has over 10 hours of teaching so that you can learn properly and safely with an additional session after he workshop is over. Compared with learning at the Isha Centre, you will only learn this in 7hours 30 minutes which can be strenuous and too quick to learn. Here, we'll be taking a different approach due to our extensive experience of teaching this practice so you can learn properly.
What is Angamardana?
Angamardana is ancient and authentic yogic process that helps to create a level of fitness largely absent in today's approach to exercise. 'Angamardana' means to gain complete mastery over the limbs, organs and other parts of the body. It is a certain conditioning of the body and mind using a knowledge of the human system that leaves you in peak physical and mental state and capability.
More than just a workout - Angamardana is a complete process of 'ultimate fitness' beyond the regular idea of muscle building and cardiovascular. Creating a body that leaves you feeling free and energised to do whatever you want to do is what fitness is. Whether you want to run up a mountain, sit absorbed in meditation or work continuously and stay focused - Angamardana can deliver true fitness. Angamardana is about strengthening the mind and cultivating the energy system (pranamayakosha) therefore allowing you to take your body far beyond the capacity offered by common forms of exercise.
If you really want to be successful in life then the body and mind need to be strong and focused. Instead of being a barrier, they must become your strength.
Angamardana is a series of 31 dynamic processes to invigorate the body and revitalise all the bodily systems, including muscular, skeletal, nervous, circulatory and respiratory systems. In the yogic system, Angmardana is used to culture the body and prepare it for the deeper practices of Yoga.

Origins of Angamardana
Angamardana is deeply rooted in the ancient yogic sciences (along with Kalaripayattu – known as the mother of all modern martial arts) and has been used by yogis through the millennia to prepare for intense sadhana (spiritual practice) to help them reach their ultimate goal. It is said to have been developed by the historically famous yogi Agastya Muni who was one of the Sapta Rishis (seven disciples of Adhi Yogi more commonly known as Shiva). Here it has been offered as a part of Isha Hatha Yoga through the knowledge and experience of Sadhguru in order to offer everyone the opportunity to revitalise their bodily system on all levels including muscular, cardiovascular, skeletal, and the nervous system.
