Benefits of a Yogasanas Starter Course?

Promo - PP044 YA.jpg

Having over 12 years experience of practicing multiple daily practices, I know what it is like. Especially when you work full-time and on top of that having a social like and family engagements. The biggest problem is the practice can fall off very easily and then when it is a long practice, its much harder to get back.

The Yogasanasn is one of the longer (if not the longest) practice that Isha offers. Though there is very good reason for that as well. Sadhguru (Founder of Isha Hatha Yoga) wants to bring classical yoga back to its full glory, for what it was always meant for. The practice of Hatha Yoga, though is using the physical dimension of the body, was always doing it for the purpose of accessing the subtler dimensions.

The Classical Yoga Approach to Yogasanas?

As we are so engaged with the world around us, more so the fact we are always distracting ourselves in the modern era, our awareness has suffered enormously. The awareness is the biggest factor if you want start getting in touch with subtler dimensions so in Classical yoga, we really take our time over every posture so it is no longer an asana but a Yogasasana.

Though, practically speaking, how do we fit all this into a daily schedule? Well, it is possible but you need to be able to commit to it and start feeling the benefits. So taking the practice in one shot can be an enormous toll if you are not ready. Both on the body and in terms of finding the time.

The Yogasanas Starter course teaches you the first part which is very manageable in incorporate and start experiencing benefits. Anytime you practice a Yogasana sequence, it must always be in the correct order and a complete sequence otherwise if can make the energy body disjointed. Here is a simple and complete sequence which will not leave you disjointed.

It’ll also help prepare you for the rest of the sequence if you feel that your body needs to prepare a little bit more. The main thing is you can see if you can get just a half hour or less of practice into your routine. Making it a more effortless process. Plus by doing the practice it is possible to wake up easier as the body can start reducing gate amount of sleep you need just by the practices you learn here.

"There are various levels of doing asanas. You can practice asanas just physically, or more deeply, being aware of the breath, sensations, reverberations..." - Sadhguru
