What is the Fitness Focus Vitality Retreat?

This retreat uses the deep yogic sciences to help build a level of fitness that is largely absent today. This is not just about building a healthy body, it is about strengthening the mind and cultivating the energy system.

In this retreat we will be focusing on all three aspects – the body, mind and energy – employing a truly yogic and holistic approach to enable you to become efficient, physically and mentally. If you really want to be successful in life then the body and mind need to be strong and focused. Instead of being a barrier, they must become your strength.

As always, we’ll be using a specific diet to support you through the retreat. This will comprise organic juices and smoothies and wholesome vegetarian meals rich in nutrients that will help keep you going. Surrounded by nature in a tranquil environment, we offer all the ingredients to get the very best out of you.

What Will I Learn?

We’ll be using the phenomenal process of Angamadana to cultivate the physical, mental and energy bodies. This is a complete and ancient yogic process that offers ultimate fitness. This is a system that goes beyond the regular aspect of cardiovascular and strength-building. It helps to increase flexibility, balance the skeletal structure, develop the nervous system and much more. Being an ancient yogic system, it activates the basic energy system as well. Alongside we’ll be incorporating guided meditations and pranayam as a support to focus and relax the mind.

Who is it suitable for?

This course is for anyone 18 years and over but due to the high physical intensity it may not suit everyone. If you have any concerns, best to talk to us first before booking.

Eco-Friendly Luxury Ensuite Accommodation

We'll be returning to the tranquil surroundings of the West Lexham Estate – a sustainable retreat centre in the heart of the Norfolk countryside within easy reach of London by train or car; providing the perfect ambience to re-establish oneself in health and vitality. Participants will be hosted in luxury en-suite accommodation giving you a great place to relax between sessions. We will be serving delicious wholesome vegetarian food throughout (organic where possible).  The food available will be in line with the yogic pranic diet, which will support you by being nourishing and balanced, ensuring that energy levels and mental alertness are at their optimum.

Please note: All rooms are either twin or double shared rooms. If you wish to book a whole room for yourself, then this is also possible depending on availability.

The yogic science have given generations of people worldwide the knowledge of physical, mental and energy transformation for thousands of years. Historically, dedicated yogis used the sequence of Angamardana to mentally and physically prepare themselves for their yoga and meditative practices. They needed the body to become resilient and strong yet feeling light so that it no longer becomes a barrier to the feats they wished to achieve.
